The number of inbound and outbound passengers at Shenzhen Airport has exceeded 3 million this year, setting a new historical high for the same period

On June 11th, Shenzhen Special Economic Zone reported that as of June 6th, the number of inbound and outbound personnel at the Shenzhen Airport port has exceeded 3 million this year, 13 days earlier than last year, setting a new historical high for the same period.  

Data shows that the number of foreign tourists entering the port this year increased by 33.9% year-on-year, coming from 190 countries and regions. Among them, visa free entry accounted for 63.2%, an increase of 47.1% year-on-year. The proportion of foreign tourists entering the country for sightseeing and leisure purposes was 47.9%, a year-on-year increase of 51.7%. The popularity of inbound tourism is high, and the number of travel groups for family and friends has increased.  

To ensure smooth customs clearance for foreign passengers, the Shenzhen Airport Border Inspection Station has established a multilingual professional team, upgraded the online application system for foreign entry cards, and is currently building a pre entry comprehensive service center for inbound passengers to provide one-stop services.
